Ronda N. — 5 star I LOVE CHOW. Whenever I travel to Bend, which is every few months or so, I make a point to eat here. Over the years, I've tried quite a few dishes. Yesterday, I had the fried cauliflower and smoked tomato/basil soup. Delicious. The menu is varied and changes to accomodate what is currently growing in the garden or available locally. The outside seating is comfortable and the music selection is to my tastes. The wait staff is friendly and outgoing. My ONLY complaint, which doesn't change my "excellent" rating, is there are no prices on the drinks menu. Customers do want to know the price of menu items when making selections. Having to ask the price of kombucha or beer or any of the other selections is uncomfortable and customers shouldn't have that burden. Hopefully the lack of pricing on the drinks menu was an oversight that will be remedied in the future. Thanks for the great food and great atmosphere!
There is just something special about the glow feeling after visiting CHOW. It's like the same feeling after an incredible home cooked meal- the soul food feeling. I think it's in part of how sincere everyone is at CHOW. They mean it. I love it.
